The series L800 is extended by the L800 Hydro acoustic levitation device. It is now possible to levitate droplets and gas bubbles in a liquid environment. Currently, the new measuring system L800 Hydro is being tested under high-pressure atmospheres (pmax. = 20 MPa) at elevated temperatures up to 353 K.

The following video shows the L800 Hydro experimental set-up under ambient conditions. The laboratory vessel is filled with water and air is injected with a syringe. The acoustic field keeps the air bubble in position.
