>>L800: PENDANT-DROP ADD-ON // SURFACE TENSION MEASUREMENTS

With the help of our latest L800 software and hardware add-on, it is possible to measure the surface tension of liquids in conformity with DIN 55660-3 [Determination of the surface tension of liquids using the pendant drop method]. The L800 pendant drop software detects the contour of the droplet and measures the surface tension using the Young-Laplace-Equation.

The L800 measurement cell allows to cover a wide pressure and temperature range. Determining surface tension using the pendant drop method can be done in atmospheres up to 20 MPa at temperatures from 253 K – 453 K.
